Re: Difference between IAS and CGPSC? What is the syllabus? As you're in class 10th, nothing much to do now. Just keep focus on your NCERTs 6-12. That's it ! Start your rest of the preparations when you'll be in the 2nd last year of your graduation ! Good Luck :) |

Re: Difference between IAS and CGPSC? What is the syllabus? IAs is the Administrative services exam. It ios conducted to recruit the central government administrative officers. On the other hand CGPSC is the Chattisgrah Public Service Exam. It is a state level examination and thus it recruits administrative officers for the state government. |

Re: Difference between IAS and CGPSC? What is the syllabus? 1. IAS is the Indian Administrative Services. CGPSC is the Chattisgarh Public service Commision. 2. Selected after IAS exam, you will be working or the Union Government. Selected under CGPSC you will be working under the state government of chattisgarh. 3. IAS is a central level job and your transfer can be in any part of the country. CGPSc is the state level job and our transfer can be anywhere within the state. 4. Regarding the syllabus for IAS. there are 3 papers for for it and the syllabus for that is- PAPER-1 > Current events (National and International) > History of India > Geography of the world (Physical, Social, Economic) > Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution > Economic and Social Development > General Issues (Environmental Ecology, Bio-Diversity, Climate change etcs.) > General Science PAPER-2 >Comprehension > Interpersonal Skills > Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability > Decision making and problem solving > General mental ability > Basic Numeracy > Data Interpretation > Comprehension Skill (English) |
