Re: Am I eligible to do MCA course after 1 year drop? No problem if you have drop one year , you are eligible for MCA course MCA stands for Master of Computer Application and it 2 years course, candidate should have 50% marks in graduation . |

The minimum qualification to take admission in a ny college for the MCA course are as follows: 1.You must be 10th and 12th pass. 2.You must be having a college graduate degree with atleast 50% as your percentage.Some of the reputed colleges ask for the percentage to be 60%. 3.You must also pass the MCA entrance exam and obtain a rank depending upon which you get admission in a college. |

You should have passed bachelor's degree with maths & english as a compulsory subjects in (10+2). Re: Am I eligible to do MCA course after 1 year drop? Yes. You are eligible to do MCA course even though you have 1 year gap after B.Sc Maths. Given below is the eligibility criteria for MCA course - Students should complete Graduation. In Graduation and in 10+2, they should have studied Maths. -Students should score minimum 50% of marks in Graduation. For taking admission, students should write an Entrance Exam conducted by those universities and should qualify in that Exam or should score cut-off marks in that Exam. Then you will get admission in any college under that university. For MCA in NITs , there is NIMCET Exam. You should also prepare for this also. |

Re: Am I eligible to do MCA course after 1 year drop? Yes you can apply for MCA course after completing B.Sc , even after 1 year drop. Eligibility for MCA : 1. Candidates who have completed their B.Sc, BCA, BBA or B. Tech can apply for an MCA course. 2. Candidates must have studies Mathematics as a subject in their 10+2. 3. There is no age limit regarding the admission to this course. 4. The marks percentage will depend on colleges, the reputed top colleges will ask for minimum 60% marks. You must write the MCA entrance exam to take admission. This exam is conducted every year. The admission is given based on the merit basis. The exam is conducted by state and central government. |

Am I eligible to do MCA course after 1 year drop? I am a B.Sc ( Mathematics) student... I passed with 58.6% marks.... Due to financial crisis I dropped one year..... I want to go for my master degree i.e ., MCA in Amity university... I want to know the entrance syllabus conducted by Amity Institute Of Information Technology....... plz help me |
