To be eligible to get exempted from appearing in CPT examination, you should have secured at least 55% aggregate in Commerce related graduation course or 60% aggregate marks in Non-Commerce related graduation course. The aggregate of three years B.Com course should be calculated and it should be minimum 55% aggregate to get exempted from appearing in CPT examination. |

As per rules of ICAI, bachelor's degree candidates in commerce stream with 55% marks or more in graduation can directly appear for IPCC stage. For non commerce stream, it is 60% marks. Those who have less than required percentage have to appear for CPT exam. |
