by passing only lecturership you can become a professor at the same time applying for lecturership with jrf and if we get cutoff mark for lecturership without the cuttoff for jrf are we eligible to get job?

Sir i am qualified NET LS june 2011 and also work in a DST, UP funded project at IIPR, Kanpur. Can I recieve JRF ship from CSIR? If Yes what is the amount Of JRF-ship? is there any HRA included with JRF-ship?

What does it mean by "cut-off for JRF is 43%" ?? Does it imply that any student getting >43% will be awarded JRF ???

Hello Sir

I am an MBA graduate (specialised in finance and marketing) and pursuing my M.Phil working for an MNC. I am very much interested in research work in portfolio management (of USA or UK financial market). If I clear my JRF how far will it help me in the research work in my interested topic. What will be the further procedure once we clear JRF, will the research guide select us or we should select and take there permission. Plese enlight me on this.

yes,the same procedure is followed by Jicks.30 students are selected for JRFin the social science subjects and 120 are of science.but the age limit is upto 28 years only for JRF.and for the lecturership there will be no upper age limit.

Hi

Each year 150 candidates are awarded Junior Research Fellowship depending upon their perforamnce in Written test.
Among this, 120 will be for Bio-medical science with emphasis on Life Science for subjects microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, bio informatics, bio technology,immunology, human biology, Envrl.scinece and the like. And 30 will be for Social science subjects like Psychology,sociology, home science, statistics, anthropology and health economics.

Apart from this, another 100 will be selected on various subjects and scheme.

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in all the Three sections of the written test. Aggregate of 55% is necessary for passing.
A monthly stipend of Rs.16,000/- would be given for all selected candidates.
