Dear Parent,
Your son can get into any ISC school on the basis of class XI result. I
in case of reputed schools they may also conduct entrance exam 'cos isc XII papers are a combination of XI + XII syllabus.

It is heard that isc syllabus is reducing/changing in comparison to jee main/advance exam syllabus, keeping in view that a student of isc can concentrate easily on entrance. Can anyone light on this point? what is the advantage of a cbse student on this issue?

as far as maths is considered

statistics and th section c of xii syllabus like diccount ,annuities, linear programming,Application of derivatives in Commerce and
Economics in the following,Index numbers and moving averages

are not required for aieee remaining everything is to be studied including xi syllabus.

physics and chemistry

everything is required excluding the practical work.

I am a parent, like other parents, I am trying to help for my daughter who is doing ISC XII.Has any body, compared the ISC syllabus with AIEEE syllabus. Objective of this question is till Board exams are over, she can concentrate on the topics common to both ISC and AIEEE. After that she can concentrate on those which were not covered at ISC. I know this is too much and selfish to ask, physics and chemistry I can decipher as both syllabi are available on the net. Maths is a nightmare. I will be happy to reward such a person suitably if I get the answer
thanks in advance
