IPS officer the civil service examination is conducted by UPSC every year to recruit not only IPS but IAS & IFS officer as well. Eligibility Criteria You should have a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university to appear in civil service examination. Age Criteria Age should be in between 21 to 30 years. Physical criteria Height Male - 165 cm Height Female - 150 cm Eye sight 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye No color blindness or night blindness Chest Male - 84 cm Chest Female- 79 cm Nasal - Candidates should not stammer while speaking. |

What are the physical requirements such as height and weight to become an IPS officer? Hello Sir, what are the physical requirements such as height and weight to become an IPS officer? I have only 1 problem that my eyes sight is little weak and I wear spec for that. Can I wear contact lenses it that is a problem? |
