What are the basic marks required? hi, you can take admission in IIM by CAT exam this is entrance exam for admission in IIM college. cutoff is decided separately by the colleges.candidates are selected on the basis of their CAT score, marks in 10th, 12th & Graduation and work experience. you can take admission IITs and NITs by the same CAT score for admission to MBA programs ed. candidate having 50% marks will be eligible to apply for CAT |

What are the basic marks required? hi dear, You should have scored at least 50% marks in 50% to be eligible to apply for CAT but it would be good if you have better academic background because it is important in getting calls from the colleges as well as in the conversion into final admission . To get admission in Management schools,you have to appear for Common Admission Test.This test will conduct by Indian Institute of Management,to intake qualify students. To get admission in Indian Institute Management,then you should get above 95% score in CAT exam. If you get 80% then you can get admission in small Management Institutes. This entrance exam will held every year. |

Dear Friend The admission in all IIMs is done on the basis of an entrance test which is known as Common Admission Test or CAT. The individual IIMs decide their cutoff separately and shortlist the candidates on the basis of their CAT score, marks in 10th, 12th & Graduation and work experience. Also, the IITs and NITs utilize the same CAT score for admission to MBA programs but one needs to apply separately for these institution after the result gets declared. You should have scored at least 50% marks in 50% to be eligible to apply for CAT but it would be good if you have better academic background because it is important in getting calls from the colleges as well as in the conversion into final admission. |

For admission to these institutes you need to appear for the exams like CAT and MAT. For this you should be graduate. You can appear when you are in the final year too. For most institutes 50% in graduation is sufficient. You can refer to the past papers to know about the structure of the exam. |

Doing MBA is the need of the day. I think you have decided to go for MBA after getting a suitable and satisfactory response. well, the entrance exams CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, MBA CET, ICET, TANCET, MAHCET,MBA Entrance Exams. • CAT (Common Admission Test) –IIMs conduct the CAT. Other than the IIMS, some other B-schools that take CAT scores are NIRMA, MICA, the NITs, IMT Ghaziabad, SP Jain Mumbai, etc. • XAT (Xavier Admission Test) – Xavier Business schools conduct XAT. XLRI, Jamshedpur, XIM Bhubaneshwar, XIME Bangalore, Loyola Chennai, GIM Goa, etc accept XAT scores. • Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) – The IITs conduct JMET. Other than the IITs, IISc also accepts JMET scores for management course intake. • Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) – The Symbiosis Institutes conduct SNAP. The major b-schools that take SNAP scores are SCMHRD, SIBM, SIIB, SITM, etc. • AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) – The Association of Indian Management Schools conducts the ATMA. Bangalore School of Business, Delhi Business School, IBA Noida, IILM Gurgaon, ISM Kolkata, IIMS Pune, Alliance Business School Bangalore, etc. • Common Entrance Test (CET) – The test is for those who are looking for admissions to colleges like KJ Somaiya, Wellingkar, Sydenham, etc. in Maharashtra. • Management Aptitude Test (MAT) – All India Management Aptitude Testing Service, Delhi conducts the MAT. This exam is usually conducted four times a year. The AIMA centers for Management Education across the country accept MAT scores. The basic qualifying marks is 50% for general students and 45% for SC/ST. Remember along with the entrance exam , there is also personal Interviews and Group discussions. So all these a general awareness is very much needed. If one is qualified for the exam he or she should work immensely hard in order to cope with the bpresent competitive world. |

What are the basic marks required? eligibility for written of entrance exam of IIMs is CAT.you have minimum score in under graduation 50% or equal to CGPA if you want to do MBA from IIMs you must write CAT exam minimum you scored 99 percentile above. MBA entrance exams 1.CAT 2.MAT 3.XAT 4.IFS 5.SNAP 6.GMAT 7.JMET etc.. |
