Hey friend,

To join in IMA(Indian Military Academy) and OTA(Officer Training Academy),you can write the CDS exam which offers you such option to join in them as it is a defence service exam.

For writing the CDS exam for joining in IMA and OTA you need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria and they are:

Candidate must have a citizenship in India and the candidate appearing for joining in IMA must be a unmarried male candidate, and for candidate who want to join in OTA can be a married or unmarried male candidate.

The age limit for joining in IMA is 19-24 years and for OTA it is 19-25 years.Regarding the education qualification for the exam you need to have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

Candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the exam.

If you satisfy all the above criteria's then you can apply for the IMA and OTA post through CDS Exam.

Regarding more information about the exams you can check at the official site of UPSC at http://www.upsc.gov.in
