Re: How should I join Navy or Air Force after 12th?

To join Navy or IAF, after 12th, you have to appear for the examination :

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY.

Eligibility :

1. You have to be an Indian National
2. Your age should be between 16 and half to 19 years
3. You should be a 10+2 from a recognized board or university.
4. You should have maths as a compulsory subject in 10+2 if you wish to apply for the Naval or Air force wings.

Once you clear this exam, then you will be called for a physical test. On passing that test, you would be going for the SSB interview, and GD.

If everything goes your way, you would be trained for 1 year. After that you can call yourself a part of Defense.

Re: How should I join Navy or Air Force after 12th?

Hello sir,
If you are aspiring to get into the defense services after your 12th standard exams, i think, N.D.A will prove to be beneficial for you. you can try the N.D.A. After 12th, you may apply for the entrance exam conducted by union public service commission. Academy consists of three wings of joint training: army, navy and air force. Getting into N.D.A is considered highly prestigious. Admissions are conducted twice a year. At first a written test will be there which will be followed by interview rounds and also group tasks and medical. At present there are about 350 vacancies and every year number of candidates applying is increasing. This makes it more difficult for the candidates to clear the exam.
Hopefully, this advice of mine would be of some assistance to you. All the best

Re: How should I join Navy or Air Force after 12th?

The Air force and the Navy are calling for candidates on a large scale. The concept of joining the defence services as a sacrifice has changed. People have started to see defence as a profession because of the attractive benefits it is giving to the officers. Male candidates who have passed their 12 standard can join the Navy and the Air Force after clearing the NDA exam. Female candidates can only join after their graduation. They will have to write the Short service commission entrance examination.
