Re: What to do after B.Sc in Biotechnology? Biotechnology offers both career options and research scopes. After B.Sc Biotechnology, you can choose Master’s in the same stream. You can also go for Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Bio-Informatics etc. Management studies are also there in Science subjects. MBA in Hospital Management is also a good choice for you. |

Or, you can go for MBA .... 1.MBA pharmaceutical management 2.MBA hospital management i think to get a good job it will be better for you to go for MBA... all the best.. |

But it is totally depends on your interest. So choose subject totally as per your interest. There are vast employment opportunities for the students of Biochemistry in a Research Institutions and the students of Biochemistry can work as Scientists, research officers, research associates, etc.. Other than this Biotechnology also has wide scope but its scope is much more in foreign countries. all the best. |

Soon after the completion of B.Sc in Biotechnology you can go for Masters degree in any of the following -M.SC Biotechnology -M.Sc Biochemistry -M.Sc Organic Chemistry -M.Sc Bio-informatics But in reality most of the candidates who have done their B.Sc in Biotechnology, they are going for MBA. MBA is also very good option. Even life science related specializations are also available in MBA like -MBA pharmaceutical management -MBA hospital management otherwise one can join traditional specializations like Finance, Marketing and HR. Soon after the completion of Masters degree in life sciences, one can find jobs in various biotech companies and pharmaceutical companies. The chemical laboratories environment will not be comfortable for some candidates especially in the manufacturing area. In addition the scope is limited for this M.Sc Biotehnology as per the jobs perspective. Keep this in mind and make your choice either to go for M.Sc or for MBA |
