Am I eligible to apply for PhD(Biochemistry) if completed Master’s in Chemistry?
Hello everyone, I did MSc(Chemistry) and now interested to do PhD in Biochemistry. I would like to know about my eligibility criteria to do PhD in this stream. Kindly tell me as soon as possible. Waiting for your response!

Yes, You are eligible to apply for PhD(Biochemistry) if completed Master’s in Chemistry with one condition.
Condition- You must have studied Biology as a subject either in graduation or post graduation. You can secure admission on the basis of UGC NET or CSIR exam score. Your final selection will be done through personal interview with head of department. You must have completed master degree in relevant subjects with minimum aggregate of 55% from recognized university. |
