Possibility to get exemption from entrance exam for doing course work in Pre Ph.D in Utkal University if completed M.Phil in Botany 10 years ago?


Hello sir, I have completed M.Phil in Botany from Berhampur University 10 years ago. Can I get exemption from entrance exam for doing course work in Pre Ph.D in Utkal University?

M.Phil candidates are exempted from entrance exam for Ph.D admission in India. It doesn't matter, if you have done it 10 years ago. Only qualification matters the most.

Just apply for Ph.D admission, when there is an admission notification by the concerned university. Admission will be on merit based on the performance in the interview stage.
