Yes,you will be eligible to get jobs in government sectors,if you have or completed your Diploma course in Mechanical/Electrical through KSOU(Karnatak State Open University).

The Total duration of this course in this university is 1 year.
Its all degree's are recognized from IGNOU University.
This University has tie up with IGNOU and there is awaiting of approval from the UGC.

Thus if you will do the Diploma from this university then your degree will be approved from the DEC(Distance Educational Council).
