hi wt i do after 12th as i got 85.3% in pcb & wt i choose btech in food technology or biomedical science which is good for me bt i didnt have maths in 12th....pls rply me as soon as possible bcs 1st cut off is on 27th june plss hlp me........

Eligibility requirement for taking admission in Food Technology :

• Your minimum qualification should be 10+2 pass out with Physics,Chemistry and Biology from recognized board/university.
• Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 60%.

There are two courses which you can do related to food technology.These are :

1. B.sc in Food Technology.
2. B.A in Food Technology.

Additional Qualifications required :

1. You should have good communication Skills.
2. You should have Scientific and Logical Thinking Approach.
3. You should have ability to work with Group.
4. You should have the ability to Represent yourself in Polite Manner in front of others.

Basic pay Scale :

• If you will have a bachelor degree in Food Technology then your Initial pay scale will range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 Per month.
• If you will have higher qualification degree such as M.sc in Food Technology then your Initial Salary will range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
• You may get higher salary if you have two to three years of working experience.

Careers After completing Food Technology Course : You can become a professional related to Food Processing companies and Hotels and you will able to work as :

• Organic Chemist.
• Bio Chemist.
• Analytical Chemist.
• Home Economist.
• Research Scientist.
• Production Manager.

Basically Food Technologist,Technicians,Biotechnologist and Engineers are required in the Industry for Production,Preservation and packing.It also include Processing and Canning of Various Food Products of various Raw Materials to maintain its Hygiene and Quality of Products.

i have finished my 12th with subjects like physics ,chemistry,biology having 60% so can i get admission for b.tech in food technology

Hi i have done my Msc in Food Science and Technology and i have to go abroad for my higher studies so which are the course shall i do?? phd won't be the good option.. and which country has great scope for this stream...plz reply to this questions...thanx
