Hi,

My score in gate 2011 in Life sciences paper is 94.6 percentile....can any body guide me which college should i apply for mtech/phd in biotech .

Hiiiiiii,

Minimum Eligibility for Ph.D. is post graduation.

So you cannot do Ph.D. after 94.6 percentile in GATE.


After 94.6 percentile in GATE, you can do M.Tech.

because after GATE you can apply for M.TECH not for PH.D .................

after M.TECH yes you can do PH.D but first you apply for M.TECH.............

your admission in may be very good college if you apply for that...............

After M.TECH you can apply for PH.D.................

For M. Tech course, you can apply at NITs, D. Y. Patil University, Mumbai & Pune which are a good option.

For PhD, you can apply at the UGC granted organization for a PhD programme & even at NITs which will be a good option.

i got 94.6 percentile in gate IN paper, i have done b tech, can i get a phd in biomedical engineering at iit

i want to know the highest marks in chemistry (CY) on GATE-2011.
and also want formulae to calculate percenile.

I got AIR 225 (98.3 %ile) in GATE lifesciences XL paper. Is there any program in IIT-Madras that i can apply for ? I want to apply for Mtech , PhD and MS in IIT-Madras, as i have no particular preference between these 3 programs. Can anyone please tell me what programs and departments in IIT-M consider GATE XL score ?

I have an AIR 225 (98.3%ile) in GATE XL paper. I have no specific preference between Mtech,MS or PhD and would like to pursue any one of the 3 programs but i prefer IIT-madras . Can anyone please tell me which departments and programs in IIT-M , accept scores in XL paper ? I was unable to find any course in Mtech that takes XL score because BT is the preferred choice. Please reply on my chances and options in IIT-M .

all india rank 880 percentile 95.24 and 94.80 in BT SUBJECT advise me nit's THIS SCORE I CAN get admission .

I think you should go for M.Tech take good college and do M.Tech with good marks and you will get job.....

i have 452 gate score in ECE baranch with 94.6%ile. which nit i will gate and suggest some other institute.
