the age limit for the nda registration is from 1995-1998..
how a person at the age of 14 (1998), 15(1997) apply for the course.....
till the last year a person b/w the age 18-21 could do so.... but now why has this been done??? my age is 18(1994), i should also have been eligible with the course...

You are eligible for NDA. For NDA, your age should be between 16 ½ and 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply. +2 pass is the educational qualification required. Those having studied Physics and mathematics can apply for Navy and Air Force also.

The NDA exam that would be held on 14th April 2013 is for the NDA batch that would be starting on 2nd January 2014

So 2nd January 2014 is the cutoff date from which the minimum and maximum age is calculated.

So for NDA exam minimum age is 16.5 years and Maximum age is 19 years
Based on 2nd January 2014 cutoff for the 14th April 2013 exams only Candidates born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997 can apply.

So thats why you cannot apply for the NDA exams anymore

NDA entrance exam eligibility:

Educational Qualification: you should be passed the 12th with science with atleast 55% marks from any recognized institute.

Age relaxation as per gov. rules.

NDA - National Defence Academy

To tell first about the NDA Exam,this exam is conducted by UPSC and is held every yer for candidate to join in defence forces of India such as:

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

To join in these forces by writing the NDA exam you need to satisfy the framed criteria for the exam and they include such as:

>> Nationality

>> Martial Status

>> Age Limit

>> Education qualification

>> Physical Standard

After passing 12th with stream you can join National Defence Academy.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of and April and August.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

Please do not feel odd and realize the fact that the NDA and UPSC don't even know you that they would be unfair specially with you. The age criteria for the NDA has forever been between 16.5 to 19 years. There has been no alteration to it.

NDA - National Defense Academy. This is organzied by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year in the months of April and August FOR THE Male 12th pass candidates ONLY.

In fact this year in the Notification its CLEARLY WRITTEN that "Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible"
So you can say that the LOWER AGE LIMIT for the NDA 2013 is 16.5 years i.e from 1st July 1996 till now and UPPER AGE LIMIT for the NDA 2013 is 19 years i.e from 2nd January 1994 till now.

So its very clear that anybody at the age of 14/15 years CANNOT APPLY FOR THE NDA 2013 Exam i.e both NDA I/II. Hence if you do not fall within these limits, I am afraid that you would have to wait for the correct time and year for your eligible candidature.

Other Criteria's are : Unmarried Male Candidates, Minimum 12th pass candidate, Physical and Mental fitness is a must for it. Also ONLY Science candidates are open to apply for all the 3 wings of NDA, but the Arts and Commerce wings students can only apply for the Army.

A candidate must have completed their 12th Std with the PCM subjects from the Recognized Board are eligible for NDA in All wings exam....

OR

There is No any Percentages Requirement for this exam....
