i want to know about government institute for merchant navy as a post of gp rating.i m b.com graduate can i do the merchant navy course? Is there brightful future in merchant navy? I m totaly confused about it.

there are many institutes both private and govt. for courses in merchant navy ......as told to you before there are four govt. institutes for merchant navy ,.....

there are many private too.....

as you are b.com ....and so you are graduate which makes you eligible for merchant navy courses....

there is no doubt that the merchant navy has very high peaks and hikes in salary.......

after few years you make be earning 3-4 lacs in a month.......
the salary is very attractive.....and so if you want to earn very fast in very early stage of your career then merchant navy is the best option.....

the only thing is that you may not be able to give more time to your family ......as you will be sailing for about 6 months across the world at a time.....

now its you who have to take the final decision.....

sir did my schooling from c.b.s.e board.10th class i scored 51%,bt in english less than 40%.I completed 12th class 66% of art. And in graduation 51% of b.com can i apply for merchant navy course. I m so confused. Advice me what can i do?

for entry into GP ratings there is no tougher procedure.....you might just have to appear for a interview or written exam......and then your course will begin.....

contact the authorities of the mentioned institutes for the admission procedure,........

ya u do man no problam we need only 40% in English and 40% in PCM

I also have Thai CDC , which is DG approved and IMO registered so sir can I take watch keeping certificate from india
