When did the deo exam start? And pg mathematics are eligible for this exam? Please tell the syllabu?

DEO stands for the Data Entry Operator and the examination is conducted by the SSC every year. The online application for the 2015 is available now and the last date of application is 6th July.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidate must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board.
* Candidate age must be greater than 18- 21 years before the 6th July.

So if you fall in this category. You are eligible. The examination is conducted in two stages and it is mandatory to qualify in both the stages for the final selection.
Written.
Typing Test.

The examination is conducted in the month of November. The written examination contains the question of Reasoning, Mathematics, English and General Knowledge.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidate must have the 10+2 degree from any recognised board.
Candidate age must be greater than or equal to 18years before the last date of online application. For this year it is 6th July.

The examination will be conducted in the two stages as the Written and the Typing test. Only candidate who qualifies in the written are eligible for the typing test and after qualifying in it are recruited for the jobs.
