If you want job in core electrical companies like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL,ONGC etc you need to appear for the GATE exam conducted by IIT.
GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. Most of the core companies now shortlist or call candidates for interview on the basis of GATE scorecard. So you should aim to appear for the GATE exam and crack it with good marks. Generally candidates among top 500 ranks have good possibility of getting shortlisted for job. |
