How i can join CBI / IB as an officer. What are the qualifications?

One of the major requirements for being selected as an officer in CBI is that you should have a bachelors degree. There are many ways through which CBI recruits people for different posts. How to join IB as an officer after class 12th

Hello friend,

Every year the Central Bureau of Investigation or CBI conducts an exam for recruitment of sub-inspectors in CBI.

The minimum eligibility to apply for this exam is to pass graduation degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.

After you crack the written exam there are personality test or the interview session.

If you pass that you are called for training at CBI for a particular period and after that you are given a post as a sub-inspector.

you can join CBI / IB as an officer by passing following exam.

you have to appear for Civil services which is conducted by UPSC .

after passing this exam with top all India rank you can join CBI / IB as an IPS officer.

the selection of the CBI is done by the staff selection committee.

also it is done by the UPSC,

and for that the minimum qualification is graduation,in any of the subjects.

then you can apply.

Selection of IB officer and CBi is done through SSC i.e staff selection comission.
Qualification for IB officer-
Age limit- Not more than 32 years 5 years relaxation for SC/ST 3 years for OBC
Academic qualification- Graduation with any stream.

Eligibility for appearing CBI/IB exam :-
1) Age :-
Your's age must lie between :-
(a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI
(b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc.,
(c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination.
The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of SC,ST,OBC.
2) Educational Qualification :-
You should have a graduate degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

To join as an officer in CBI one should have at least masters degree.
M.Sc. in Chemistry, M.Sc. in physics, or masters dgree in any other subject.

QUALIFICATION for CBI/IB: Graduation in any Discipline.

To join CBI/IB,You need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age & Special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.

AGE CRITERIA:

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years
For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

4 attempts for General category candidates
7 attempts for OBC category candidates
Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates

Sorry, you are not eligible as u r having AME.Ame is a license based diploma given by DGCA.you must possess a bachelor degree with 50% marks in any stream.

CBI is one of the field where many graduates would have thought of being it when they were in childhood.
The academic qualification required for joining CBI ARE
1.A bachelor degree from the law.
2.Qualification required for registering as a chartered accountant.
3.diploma in the Taxation law.
in addition this one need to have a work experience of ten years in the field of inspection,vigilance or taxation.
