i have passed 12th with PCM with 53% and aggregate 73% and i want to join indian airforce or navy but not by NDA. For which posts am i eligible and what are the selection procedures...??

You must note that all the entry which are done for 10+2 Passed student is not without NDA Examinations.So,You must have given NDA examinations in order to join the Air-Force and Navy.
And,With these you should have Physics and Maths subjects in your 10+2 Board Examinations or will not become eligible for Air Force.

As,You have mentioned that you want to go without NDA So there is no mode but you may go on with completions of your Graduations as there is no need to give entrance exam if you are applying after the completions of your Graduations.

To Join Indian Airforce or Indian navy Just After Passing Class 12th, You need to apply for the UPSC NDA exams:


Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream
Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths


AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

For the next NDA examsthat will be held on 11th August 2013 Candidates born between 2nd July 1995 to 1st January 1998 can apply


Only Male candidates can apply


Next NDA exams will be held on 11th August 2013
Notification will come out on 4th May 2013

Both the Air Force and the Navy need personnel who have strong aptitudes in science and math. The only way to apply in the air force after 10+2 is NDA.

NDA-stands for National defense Academy,which is a entrance exam(It is not entrance exam,but a Academy but you need to give entrance to join NDA) through which you can join all the three sections of defense army,air force,navy.

But there are some criteria that you need to fulfill to apply for the NDA.

~The candidates must be 10+2 passed or must be studying in the final(12th standard),to apply with physics and maths for air force and navy and with any stream for army.(as it is a common entrance for all three).

~There is no minimum percentage bar,only passing is necessary.

~Age limit-16.5 to 19 years.

~Only male candidates are applicable.

The exam is conducted twice in a year,and is conducted by a board called UPSC.

The notifications are released May and December in the employment news paper and in the leading news paper.

NDA is the authority that conducts training for selection of candidates to air force or navy. You can join to defence wings by getting trained under NDA. NDA is the gateway by which 12th passed candidates can join defense. Selection is done through written test and interview. Mathematics and aptitude questions will be asked for written test.

Definitely you can join either for the Indian force or Indian Navy.For this you have to appear and crack this examination. As you are telling that you have completed your +2 with PCM also scored good i.e. 73% marks on your aggregate then definitely you can apply for this examination if your age lies in between 16.5 year to 19 year.

Yeah you can join in Indian Air Force or Navy which are known as Defence forces of India and for joining in these forces you need to write the DEfence service exam.

The exam which you could opt with the qualification of yours is the NDA Exam

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and is held ever year as NDA I and NDA II.

There are criteira's which are framed for the exam in order to apply for the NDA exam and they are:

## The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

## The Martial Status for the exam is that the candidate must be a Unmarried male candidate

## The age limit needed for the exam is 16 1/2-19 years of age

## The education qualification for the exam is that the candidate must haev completed +2 with a fair percentage and with Physics and Mathematics as subjects

## The candidate appearing for the exam must be Physically fit




If you tend to satisfy all these criteira framed for the exam then you can apply for the NDA Exam
