Friend, as you have bachelor degree in nursing, so you can apply for CDS Examination which is purely meant for graduates only.


Through CDS Examination, candidate can join anyone of the followings defence academies:

# Officer Training Academy (OTA)
# Indian Military Academy (IMA)
# Air Force Academy (AFA)
# Naval Academy (NA)


REQUIRED AGE LIMITS:

# 19-25 years for OTA
# 19-24 years for IMA
# 19-23 years for AFA
# 19-22 years for NA


OTHER ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS REQUIRED ARE:

# Must be Indian citizen.
# Must be graduate in any discipline.
# Must be UNMARRIED.
# Must have good moral character.
# Must not have any criminal record.


REQUIRED PHYSICAL FITNESS STANDARDS ARE:

# Must have eyesight of 6/6 in good eye and 6/9 in worse eye.
# Must not have Colour Blindness and Night Blindness.
# Must have minimum height of 157.5 cm for Army.
# Must have minimum height of 162 cm for Navy and Airforce.
# Must not have any orthopaedically defects.
# Must not have FLAT FEET.
# Must not have KNOCK KNEE.
# Must not have any serious or critical disease like blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease etc.
