Will medical entrance by MCI be applicable for MBBS admissions?

Some of the newspapers have printed a lot about this. But no authentic information is currently available from reliable sources. So the students preparing for getting an admission in MBBS are facing a lot of difficulty.
Recently in Gujarat admissions are also available on the basis of Gujarat board and GUJCET score. Will this pattern not be implemented for MBBS 2012 admissions?

You have been confused by the news and the website. Only because it seems that you did not read them carefully.

MCI is the medical counsil of India which approves college to run medical courses. Just like the AICTE which apparoves the engineering colleges to run there courses.

When it comes for preparation then I must say that fighting for the MBBS entrance test is much more difficult than the engineering entrance tests.

For preparing well for these exams you should join any good coaching centre.

You can appear for the AIPmT exam which is all India level test with which you can get admission in all over India..

Also states like Madhya Pradesh will use the score of this exam to conduct counselling in their state.
