Dear Sir, I have complited my diploma in Mechanical Engg. in 2007.Now I want doing B.TECH. (distance education )From KARNATAKA STATE OPEN UNIVERSITY(www.ksoumysore.com). I want to know that this university AICTE UGC approved or not.

karnataka state open university( KSOU) is not approved by AICTE (All India council of technical education) .But Karnataka State Open University is approved by UGC.

The Karnataka State Open University has been recognized by the following organization -

1. The Distance Education Council (DEC) New Delhi.

2. Regular member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi.

3. Permanent member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) London UK.

4. Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), Beijing, China.

5. Commonwealth of Learning (COL).

If the course you are trying to peruse is BE or BTech only then you need AICTE approval.
Other courses will anyway not be AICTE approved. UGC and DEC should be enough.

Is the MBA in Materials Management through distance learning in KSOU recognised by UGC/ AICTE etc. ?

i want to take admission in b.tech. 2nd year. I want to know that this univeristy is approved from aicte or not.

Karnataka State Open University(KSOU) is not a AICTE approved ,but UGC approved University.It offers Numbers of Diploma , Bachelor , Masters & Vocational Courses.

I am doing MBA(Finance) in KSOU. I have completed 3rd semester and I want to know when will start 4th/last semester exam. And I have 1st & 2nd semester mark list but mark list of 3rd semester not yet found.Whether karnataka state open university is UGC approved? Sir I joined B-tec in 2012 and completed in 2015 Feb ....I am govt employee for promotion can this certificate help , they r saying ksou is not approved ...is it approved by ugc aicte,Dec, in 2012-15 PL reply as early as possible.... I am confused
