BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application and the duration of the course is for 3 years . The course is divided into 6 semester .

You can do it on distance mode or full time course .

The minimum educational qualification required for BCA course is needed 12th standard.But your 12th standard marks must be above 45% But your 12th standard course must contain Maths or Stat or Computer Application subject.

Some colleges conducts their own entrance exam , in this case they can consider any subject requirement.

You have completed 12th standard with commerce department but you have not mathematics as subject in 12th board so you will try get admission those college which are not require any subject combination .

There is no age criteria so any body can apply for BCA course in any time but your minimum age should be 17 years old.

To study BCA, one should pass 10(+2) with maths, physics,chemistry as main subjects. And he/she should get at least 50% marks in 12th.Most of the colleges need either maths or computer as one of the subjects in 12th and also English as a compulsory subject.

You are a commerce student so if you fulfill the above criteria then you are applicable for BCA degree.

Sorry for BCA eligibility is PCM or commerce with maths in intermediate.You could go for B.com or arts subjects for graduation or you can go for defence. You can study law or CA.

The admission procedure to Bachelors in Computer Application course is similar to the other Under Graduate Programs.

As for the age criteria most of the colleges need the candidates to be at least 17 years old. The maximum age varies between 22 to 25 years.

The application forms are normally available during the period the 12th standard results are declared.

Eligibility for BCA

>> 12th passed with 50% marks or other equivalent qualification from recognized board.

>> You have must have MATHS/STATISTICS/BUSINESS MATHEMATICS/physics in your class 12th.

Documents required for admission

Minimum 2 Photos
Attested copy of the Education Qualification (Both 10th & 12th standard)
School Leaving Certificate (Proof for age of the candidate)
Attested copy of the Extra-curriculum Certificates

BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications.

It is a Graduation course which can be done after 12th.

You need not worry about the stream in which you have done 12th.

Regardless of the stream you can do BCA.

BCA is related to computer subjects.

So it will be good if you have some knowledge of computer and its subjects.

Yes. You can do BCA after 12th without math but there are some specifice colleges in india who take a admission only the students who did 12th in math.
