Am I eligible for IIT if I have done 3 years full time diploma from a government institute 3 years back(28 years old)?
I have done 3 year full time diploma from a government institute in 2008. I am 27 year old. Am I eligible for IIT?

Dear friend,
I don't think that you are eligible to join the IITs as you have done diploma course and not 10(+2) with science subjects. No IIT has lateral entry scheme that is there is only admissions for the students who pass 12th with science and who have valid ranks in IIT-JEE entrance exam. Also your age will create problem if you wish to enter into IITs through the IIT-JEE exam, as you don't qualify in the age eligibility criteria. It will be better if you appear for the lateral entry exams of engineering institutes other than IITs to study B.E/B.tech graduation course. good luck! |

can i fill the form of iit after polytechnic if no then which form i have to fill for in admission in IIT colleges?
