in isc board what is the minimum marks required in theory and practical separately to pass? ? And if a student gets 22 in theory and 22 in practical will he or she will be considered pass in isc board class 12? ?

Passing marks for the Class 12 under the Indian School Certificate (ISC) is 40 per cent out of 100. The Class 12 examination is conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

The student has to clear all the five subjects and possess an aggregate on similar scale. A score of 22 will be considered as fail.

i had given physics,chemistry and computer practical exams but due to illness i can not give exams now. So next year i will be considered as an improving student or fresh student?? plz reply soon

If some1 is failing in 2 subjects eco and accounts .but scoring 40%..will he or she pass.?

If you get below 25 in theory then in practicals your marks will be deducted to 20/30.
And if you are getting above 40 in theory then you'll get 30/30 in practicals

If you are getting below 25/70 in theory then your practicals will suffer i.e. You'll get 20/30 or less.
But if you'll score 40+ in theory out of 70 then you will get FULL MARKS in practicals i.e. 30/30

eng-60,hindi-54,accountancy-48,Commerce-28,Eco-21,Maths-19...
So shall i considered as passed and am i eligible to be awarded with a Pass Certificate?

passing is not a matter, getting good marks should be every student's aim :) but isc should stop the scaling down of marks in phy/chem practicals... its really bad thing.

It is a Compulsory Paper. It consists of two
papers which are:
Paper I: Theory
Time Duration: 3 hours
Maximum marks: 70
Paper II: Practical/Project Work
Maximum Marks: 30

According to ISC pattern you require minimum 40 marks out of 100.

Basically exam consist of two part's i.e. Theory & Practical.
If you score more than or equal to 40 marks in combination of both part then you will pass unless you are Fail.
