I am a betch passed out student of last year batch how do i start studying for ministry of external exam paper? How to start studying for ministry of external affairs exams

Ministry of External Affairs is a foreign ministry in India . It is a government agency responsible for foreign relations in India .

Various department under the Ministry of External Affairs are :

>> Foreign Service Institute
>> Indian Council for Cultural Relations

And the recruitment for the Indian Foreign Service working under the ministry of external affairs is done by the “ Union Public Service Commission “.

There are totally three stages of Selection Process.

First stage of examination includes two objective type examinations.They are:

>> General studies
>> Choice of yours

You can choose the second option from the Medicine , Accountancy , Civil Engineering , Chinese Literature and all .

If you succeed in the first stage then you will be allowed into the Main examination .

Main examination again has 9 papers . The main exam is conducted for 2000 marks , and there are two papers of general studies .

Soon after completion of your Main examination , there will be an Interview , I think this is the final stage . Interview stage is for 300 marks total .

You will have to keep your eyes very deeply in the following subjects specially to get good marks in this exam . They are :

@ General Awareness ( Prepare Current Affairs too )
@ Quantitative Aptitude ( Topics involved in R.S Agarwal Book )
@ English ( Basic understanding of the English Language )

Make sure keep yourself abreast with the syllabus as soon as it is announced . Get good information about the Syllabus and Pattern .

Do not leave any topic without study . Solve as many model papers and mock tests as you can .If you want you can get help from the coaching centers .

Try to learn Maths short cuts , memory methods and tricks everything.
