Yes ,you may go for the Ph.D after you completion of PGDM from biotechnology stream. So for Ph.D course the educational qualification is of the M.Phil from a recognized university. So remember one thing that PGDM Course is highly valid only if you have completed your PGDM course from the Indian Institute of Technology.

For the PGDM course the work experience of 2 years will be required by the top B-Schools.But most of the universities/colleges have their own rules and regulations and conditions. You can go for the Ph.D degree through NET Exam also.NET Exam is National Eligibility Test,so that you can of course become as a Junior Research Fellow.

Soon after completion of your Ph.D in Biotechnology field, you may go for the various careers such as Clinical Programmer,Quality Control Engineer,Bio Chemical Development engineer. The duration of the Ph.D is generally of the 2 years duration ,the maximum duration can be expected up to the five years. So for this to be eligible there is no bar of the Age criteria. So any age candidates can apply for the Ph.D Degree.

You must have secured a minimum of 55% in academics for the general category candidates. If it is for the SC/ST/OBC then the marks the candidate must have obtained is 50%.So if you meet the above all eligibility criteria, then only you will be eligible for doing Ph.D course after your PGDM course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
