I currently studying in govrenment poly.thane.i am now in first year of civil engg diploma.my question is-can i take admission in btech. Of civil after complitation of diploma in iit mumbai?

Yes, you can definitely take admission in B.Tech course in IIT Mumbai after completion of your diploma course. But this is not possible by the Lateral Entry Exam. You need to appear for the JEE exam and score good marks thereby having a very low rank to be eligible for IIT Mumbai. IIT Mumbai is a renowned and one of the top institutes of the country in the technical field, so getting admission in it is very difficult. Hence you need to work hard and qualify in the entrance examination with very good scores and then you can definitely pursue your B.Tech engineering course in IIT Mumbai.
