after getting 40000 rank in aieee the college you can get is AIT army institute of technology but that is only for army wards and in punjab engg college also

if you have secured the 40000 rank in aieee exam then you have the chances to get seat in the nit where you passed your 10+2 exam. i mean it is required that you are under home state quota.

you can also get admission in the other state nit's but you will have to wait for the 5th or 6th round of counselling.

for the government college , it is important that , to which category you belongs.

dear,
you have secured very good marks.

as per your all india rank you can get admission in VNIT nagpur for the branch mining engineering. if you belongs to open or obc category. but if you are under reservation or if you belongs to sc/st category then you can get the branch of your choice.

vnit is one of the best college in maharashtra.
so, if you alloted seat there in the counselling then its more than best for any student.

if you are not want to take admission in vnit nagpur by any reason then you can possibly get admission in the private colleges of maharashtra.

these are some colleges where you can get admission are

1) MIT PUNE
2) SARDAR PATEL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ,MUMBAI
3) SINGHGAD INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ,PUNE
4) KJ SOMAIYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ,VIDYAVIHAR,MUMBAI
5)ST FRANSICS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY , BORIVALI, MUMBAI

in the above mentioned colleges , you can get admission through 15% quota offered by state government for the students secured in aieee.

hii friend...here i can help you.........you can get seat in some of the NIT'S based on your aieee rank............you can see the following site for previous years cut offs for various enginnering colleges for aieee........
