Can I apply for CSIR-UGC-NET(Life Science) if completed M.Sc in Clinical Research? Previous year question papers of CSIR-UGC-NET(Life Science)?


Hello
I have done MSc in clinical research.
Can I write CSIR UGC NET Lifesciences Exam?
Kindly help me and provide me some previous papers?

If you have done your M.Sc in Clinical Research from a recognized University in India and you have got at least 55% marks in it, then surely you are eligible to apply for CSIR NET examination. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category candidates.

You have to opt for Life Sciences subject because Clinical Research is related mostly to biological sciences. Hence, just check whether the Institute from where you have done your M.Sc in Clinical Research is affiliated to a recognized University or not. If it is fine, then you won't have any problem in appearing for CSIR NET.

I hava done B.E. in telecommunication. Can i write CSIR NET examination through life science? Am i eligibile to do so?

Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Important Dates:

The last date of making fee is 11th March 2015.

The last date of applying is 12th March 2015.

The tentative date of examination is 21st June 2015
