Admission in 9th standard at CBSE or ISC School for student studying in Abroad?


Can my son get admission in a CBSE/ISC school in std 9th during september? He completed his 8th from India from a CBSE school. He is studying in Form-2 in a school abroad. I want him to continue his studies in India. Can he get admission in 9th std.?

I think you should let him continue his studies in abroad. As it is after his graduation he will try to do MS in abroad. At that time he would have to again work hard and sit for TOEFL or IELTS etc. Whereas right now he is already settled in abroad. By the time he passes graduation, he will get a chance in MS by showing his graduation aggregate marks.
Also no school will admit him in September in India. He will have to lose one more year to get admitted. So better complete his education in abroad.

My son is in 10th grade studying USA. He studied in India till 8th std. We are returning back in June in India. Can he get admission in CBSE school for 11th grade ? what are the challenges?
