For which subject I should apply in NIPER Ph.D entrance exam being a M.Sc Physics student?


hello
i want to write niper phd exam and
i am intrested towards research....
which specialization i should choose....
plz help me out

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research conducts examination for aspirants to award them with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and to determine the eligibility for Lecturer ship.

As you have complete M.Sc in Physics, it is easy for you to take CSIR UGC NET in Physical Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate with Master’s degree in the stream of science from a recognized University is eligible
• Need to have minimum 55% in academics for OBC and General candidates
• Need to have minimum 50% in academics in SC/ST and handicapped candidates
• Candidates with PhD/M.Phil in science stream are also eligible

Age Qualification:

• Candidate should be more than 25 years of age
• 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST/BC Candidates
Entrance Examination consists of 200 questions from,
• General Science
• Research Aptitude
• Technical and Scientific conceptual questions
