Admission in NIT, Suratkal for an OBC candidate who has scored 101 marks in JEE Mains and 98% in 12th? Is it necessary to appear in JEE Advanced?


sir,

will i get a seat in nit suratkal for getting 101
in jee mains nd 98% in my 12th boards .
i belong to obc category...
nd do i need to write jee advanced to get into nit...???

First of all I make you clear that the admission in NIT's is done through JEE Main only there is no need to take the JEE Advance if you want to take admission in NIT's.

**I congratulated you for getting nice percentage in 12th and also score good marks in JEE Main. As you know that weightage for 12th percentage is 40% in calculating your merit. So it will be an advantage for you.

**Looking after your score and percentage in my opinion you have to wait till the last counselling you will get NIT Suratkal.

**Below are the attachment regarding the previous year cut off for NIT suratkal.

Can i get any nit with 97 Mark in jee and 860 Mark's in 12 board exam and I'm obc student??
