i m doing be mechanical engg in tamilnadu india.
i wish to ms in usa in automotive engineering
so please help me in admission process

In order to do Master of Science (MS) in Automotive Engineering, you need to do the following,

• Need to be a graduate from Automotive related courses with minimum 55%
• Need to appear for Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and get a score of about 300 and more
• Need to appear for Test Of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) and get a score of about 90 and more

GRE deals with,

• Verbal Reasoning with 1 point increment
• Quantitative Reasoning with 1 point increment
• Analytical Writing score with half point increment.

TOEFL deals with,

• Listening
• Reading
• Speaking and
• Writing

Based on the score you get in these 3 examinations, you need to apply for the college. You need to submit,

• GRE Score card
• TOEFL Score card
• Graduation Marks Sheet
• Statement Of Purpose (SOP) stating the reason why you are applying that particular University

Once you get the approval from the University you applied, you will be given I20 which is also called an admission and need to take this I20 to Visa Interview
