Detailed Information and Notification details of NIMHANS PhD Entrance Examination:

NIMHANS offers several courses and the basic educational qualification requires basically varies fro course to course.

Some of the disciplines available are, BioPhysics, Clinical Psychology, Biostatistics, History of Psychiatry, Neuropathology, Neurochemistry, Human Genetics, Neurophysiology, Neurological Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Nursing, Speech Pathology and Audiology..etc.,

The basic educational qualification required is MBBS or MD or M.Sc or Master's Degree in concerned discipline from a recognized university to be eligible.

Basically there are three sessions namely, Session 1, 2 and 3. PhD for candidates with JRF or JRF from UGC or CSIR or ICMR or DBT along with the permanent employees or tenured employees of NIMHANS come under session 3.
