virtusa is coming to my college for interview
i am in very tension...this will be my first interview
please tell me about the number of rounds
and also some details of interview

Virtusa recruitment process contains 4 rounds.

Selection Procedure:

• Written Test.
• Group Discussion.
• Technical Round.
• HR Interview.

Written Test:

It includes questions from,

• Quantitative Aptitude.
• Logical Reasoning.
• Series problems.
• English Comprehension.

Topics to study Quantitative Aptitude:

• Problem on Trains.
• Profit and Loss.
• Allegations and Mixtures.
• Time and Distance.
• Time and Work.
• Number Theory.
• Probability.
• Permutations and Combinations.
• Clocks
• Calendar Problems.

You can refer Quantitative Book by RS Aggarwal.

Group Discussion:

Some numbers of students are divided as two groups and are given a topic for discussion. It is to test you in,

• Speaking Kills.
• Listening Skills.
• Communication Skills.
• How well you can understand the topic?
• How well you respect and respond to others in a professional way?
• How well you can support your point?

Technical Interview:

In this round, you will be tested in technical skills.

• So, just concentrate on your core subjects.
• You may be asked about your favorite subject and prepare that subject ell before interview.
• You should be in a position to answer any questions asked from that particular question.
• Do not lie about the topic which you do not know, as the interviewer might be having a good knowledge on the topic he/she is asking.

Personal Interview:

In this round you will be tested in your attitude and problem solving skills along with communication skills.

• Be confident in what you are saying.
• Simply, “Sorry, I am not aware of it”, when you do not know interviewer is asking. But, do not say this answer for every question.
• Practice few mock tests before appearing the real interview.
• Know about the company and the position you have applied for.
• Be ready to ask questions when give a chance.

Virtusa is a reputed multinational company.

Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for Virtusa is,

Virtusa= 60%

More than two years gap throughout the studies are not applicable for Virtusa recruitment.

Technical test

Personal interview

Pattern for Virtusa recruitment 2014:-

Test-Section I/Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking
25 minutes 15 questions
Test-Section II/ Mathematical critical thinking and Logical reasoning
35 minutes 10 questions
Test Section III/Test of communicative English
35 minutes 40 questions

Interview questions:-

1. What are your qualifications?
2. Introduce yourself?
3. In your introduction I have found nothing new, explain what you have to offer?
4. Describe you experience in relation to the IT field?
5. Have you done any course in IT field?
6. From where have you done the course? Why you have chosen only this course to do?
7. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
