i want to attempt jee mains
i have also submitted the form
i want to study my engineering in
NIT Patna......i want to know
wht marks i have to achieve
for admission in NIT Patna?
please send the answer quickly sir.

The admission to NITs through Counseling, will be based on AIR (All India Rank).
To get admission in NITs have to clear JEE Main & JEE Advanced exams.
You have to be among top 150,00 students in JEE Main, then you can sit for JEE Advanced Exam.
The cut marks in JEE Main for appearing in JEE Advanced vary year to year.

JEE Main 2014 Cutoff:
Cut-off score for appearing in JEE (Advanced) was 115.

JEE Main 2015 Cutoff:
Expected cut-off score for appearing in JEE (Advanced) is around 115-120.

Cut off is the minimum marks required for a candidate for admission. The cut off marks is different for every year and it is based on number of candidates appearing, seats available etc..,

CUT OFF MARKS :

1. For General Category - 115

2. For OBC - 75

3. For SC - 53

4. For ST - 54.

To achieve in NIT Patna you have to score minimum of 115 marks.

I am a general category student . i secured 130 marks in mains and 96.4% in intermediate.can i get seat in nit??

I got 158033 rank. in obc rank in jee mains exam. Is any chancege to get admission in nit patna or any other nits

NIT is somewhat difficult. But, you can try other top colleges like: BITS, JNU, Lovely Professional University, ICFAI, DU...... All of them have got better education facilities, good placements and infrastructure. For detailed info. regarding eligibility criteria and admission process, visit their website.
