Yes you have good chance of getting admission in a Government college with this rank. Your rank is good enough for you to get admission in a Government Polytechnic through counselling.

You might face some competition in getting admission in Mechanical Engineering stream because it is one of the most popular stream and most of the students opt for it. You can get admission in other streams easily but you have to fill your choice carefully.
