I want to know that can a student get chance
of doing MBBS course after Passing Senior
Secondary and Higher Secondary
10th & 12th Examination from NIOS?

Yes, you are eligible to Pursue MBBS Course being 12th NIOS Student.

If you wish to use NIOS Certificate for Higher Studies, it's is your own Interest that you keep in mind the Requirement of Boards/ Universities you wish to Join after Passing Secondary/ Senior Secondary Course from NIOS.

Some Boards/ Universities require Specific Subject Combination for admission to the Institutions Affiliated to them.

* For a Medical Course, eligibility Criteria are that you should have passed Class XII with Chemistry, Physics and Biology/ Bio-technology along with English as Core Subject.

* NIOS Certificates are Valid, recognized and at par with Other National and State Board of Education.

* NIOS Candidates can appear and Compete in Various Competitive Examinations.

NIOS IS VALID FOR MBBS IN ABROAD AND THEN MCI APPROVED NIOS CERTIFICATE?

MCI has barred NIOS or other State Open School Boards from issuing Eligibility Certificates to study basic medical education abroad. Still there is a question mark, whether the NIOS candidates will be allowed to write NEET Examination to study MBBS in India.

Does MCI issues eligibility Certificate for NIOS students studying mbbs abroad for session 2016-2017 ?
