i am swagato roy chowdhury just compleated my post graduation in environment and development from jadavpur university kolkata, west bengal, India.I want to know whether i am eligible for ugc net examination for environmental science or not.previously i have done my post graduation in economics also but that moment i have not secured the marks of 55 % but at that time i have secured the 59 % marks in environment and development.

You have completed M.Sc degree in Environment and development with above 59% marks so you are eligible for UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.

Sir/madam.i am sreelal aged 25.post graduate in environmental engineering (M.E Environmental engg).do i have the eligibility to appear ugc net exam in environmental science subject ?
