what is the procedure to apply for
phd in computer science after the completion of mtech(cse)
in distance mode .after completing phd can a candidate become eligible according to AICTE........

If you have got M.Tech qualification with at least 55% marks then you are definitely eligible for Ph.D admission. You can surely apply for a distance education Ph.D program if you can clear the entrance exam and interview which is conducted by the University.

If you have qualified exams like GATE/NET/SLET/JRF then you are exempted from entrance exam and can apply for direct admission by appearing for the interview. Most of the top Universities prefer candidates with these scores and if you have qualified any of the above then you will not face any problem during Ph.D admission.
