Should I have to appear in RET to study PhD in Zoology at Banaras Hindu University? Detailed information about RET?


Hello Freinds,
Kindly tell me that what is RET exam?
I want to do PhD in Zoology from Banaras
Hindu University so I have to give RET?
Please tell me about this.

RET is for those who don't have NET/SLET/JRF/GATE scores. Hence, if you want to get admission in BHU and don't have these scores then apply for RET. You can appear for RET if you have got at least 55% marks in your Master's degree from a recognized University. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.

If you have have NET/SLET/GATE/JRF score then no need to appear for RET. Just apply for admission on the basis of any of these scores. All you have to do is appear for interview with all you academic documents.
