BUMS Doctor can prescribe Allopathy Medicines?


I have one of the common doubts that whether can a BUMS Doctor Prescribe Allopathy medicines?

No, BUMS doctors can only prescribe Unani medicines which is a alternative medicine system. Only MBBS doctors can prescribe allopathy medicines.
Therefore, you have to stick to Unani system of medicines only. According to MCI only MBBS registered doctors have right to prescribe such medicines.
