As I am a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering student,
How can I join in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering course?
I am studying in 1st year of Diploma and after
Diploma I will study B.Tech so please let me know.

Yes, you can join in B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. To get admission in B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering), you have to appear for the Lateral entry exam, which is conducted in your state. If you can qualify such Lateral entry exam, you can get direct admission in second year of B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) course. You will get admission in any particular engineering college, depending upon your rank in Lateral entry exam.

To get admission in B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) course after completion of your three years Diploma course, you need to appear in lateral entry entrance examinations like LEET/ECET/JELET examinations. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college in the counselling process. By qualifying the entrance examination, you can get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course.
