Sir i'am currently doing B.tech in EEE(electronics and electrical) ;and i am going to complete my 1st year. I have a chance to change my stream and switch to mechanical or computer eng. Should i change.

Yes you can change stream from Electrical to Mechanical or computer science after completing 1st year in B.Tech

But you have to meet some criteria to switch from one stream to another stream.

--> To change your stream in after first year in B.Tech you have to score at least 8.25 YGPA after 1st year.

If you meet the criteria then you are eligible to switch from one stream to another stream.

Yes ofcourse, as you are going to complete your 1st year, you can smoothly change your stream,but make sure that there is a vacancies in that branch in which you are going to apply. You can only change your stream in the starting of 2nd year.
Procedures to change Stream:
Firstly, you have to write any application to the department of yours then after if you get the approval to change your stream. Then forward your application to the department of that stream which you want .
Secondly, That application will be forwarded to your university to manipulate your details from previous branch to new .

Yes, you can change your stream after completion of your first year.But you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria provided by the University in order to shift your stream.But before shifting, think twice as Electronics and Electrical Engineering is a good stream and have good opportunities a head after completion of your 4 years, you can give GATE Exam, and enter into PSU's or you can enter into Private organizations.

Sir wanted to have cse but unfortunately I could not get that stream instead I got mechanical at aot what should I do
