Hi
In order to get into the assistant locomotive pilot, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria which states that you should be a diploma holder or ITI in the mechanical field.
There is an examination conducted by the railways for this post in which four sections would be there, viz. mathematics, reasoning, English and general studies.
Moreover, for the physical standards are also necessary for this post like you should be having a 6/6 eye sight for this post.
Thanks

Minimum Eligibility criteria Required to apply for the assistant loco pilot -

>> Candidate should must be Diploma engineering from any Polytechnic collage in Mechanical engineering.

>> Should have been scored the minimum 50% marks in Diploma and having no back during applying for Assistant loco pilot.

>> After fulfilling these conditions you have to qualify for the Railway Recruitment board exam for Loco Pilot.

So as you are doing diploma from Plastic engineering then you can not apply for this post now but if after it you change your stream in graduation from Plastic engineering to mechanical engineering then after B.tech you can apply for this post.
