Dear Sir,
I have passed 12th Board exam from NIOS Board.
I want to appear in VITEEE now. So, I would
like to know that I am eligible for appearing
as I am a candidate of NIOS Board.
Please tell me immediately.

Eligibility for VITEEE:-

You must be Indian citizen.

You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam like CBSE/ICSE / Intermediate of two year pre university examination by recognized board.

Candidates must have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology in the qualifying examination.

Exam Pattern:

PCM exam consist 120 question, 40 of each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

PCB exam consist 120 question, 40 of each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

This year VIEEE exam is over. You have to wait for next year notification.

Yes, you can appear for VITEEE exam.

Eligibility for VITEEE exam:-

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with above 70% marks from science stream are eligible for VITEEE entrance exam.

Your age should be above 18 years.

NIOS stands for National institute of open schooling which provides general and academic courses at secondary and senior secondary level. As NIOS certificates are valid, recognized and at par with the other national and state boards of eduction. As NIOS board is recognized by all Universities and educational institutes in India.

NIOS passed candidates can appear in various competitive examinations like JEE, AIPMT etc..,. But however the candidate should meet the required eligibility criteria of the respective examination.

But according to the eligibility criteria of VITEEE only the candidate's who have studied Regular, full time and formal education are eligible to apply.

Yes you are eligible if you have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) or The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50%
