To become an Income Tax officer after completion of your Intermediate, you need to pursue Graduation course in any discipline from a recognised university and you need to appear in Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination. The Staff Service Commission (SSC) conducts an entrance exam for the recruitment of candidates for various posts in income tax department every year.

Eligibility Criteria :-
1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have completed graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

3. You must be at least 18 years old and your maximum age must not exceed more than 27 years at the time of applying for SSC exam. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Selection Procedure :-
1.Written Test
2.Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify in written test will be called for Personal Interview round. Candidates who perform well in Personal Interview round will be selected for the post of an Income Tax Officer.

What all are the jobs for which an engineering(final result) graduate is able to apply for?

You can't become Income Tax officer after Intermediate. Candidate have to complete his/her graduation to become Income tax officer.

First of all you have to complete your graduation. Then you can apply for SSC-CGL exam to become Income tax Officer.

You have to clear the SSC-CGL exam with good marks.
